About hossein alizadeh

Hossein Alizadeh (1965) is the former senior officer in international political affairs and former Iran’s charge d’affaires in Iran embassy in Helsinki. He was a career diplomat in the Iranian Foreign Ministry for 22 years. Following the 2009 rigged presidential election and as the aftermath of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s repressive and aggressive behavior against its innocent people, he resigned from his job and stepped down from his career in support of the Green Movement of Iran, releasing documents showing the election was gravely manipulated.

Since then, he is an independent freelancer journalist

contributing through his articles and interviews to variety of media in Persian, Arabic, and English in Iran, the Middle East and international issues. He is the author of “Iran-Egypt Historical Relation: Two Middle East Regional Powers” (the original version in Persian is published by Iran’s ministry of foreign affairs in 2005 and the translated Arabic one is published in Egypt, 2007).

He received his B.A. in Philosophy from Tehran University and his M.A. in International Relations from the School of International Relations (affiliated school to the Iran’s ministry of foreign affairs). He is a doctoral candidate at the SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES in the field of PEACE STUDIES at the University of Tampere, Finland. He is also a fellow research at the Tampere Peace Research Institute –TAPRI-. In addition to Persian, he speaks English and Arabic fluently and is familiar with Finnish and Swedish languages.
